Finding A Home for The Connecting Grounds
Due to community push-back because of the church’s outreach efforts for the homeless, The Connecting Grounds, home to Springfield Street Choir, was recently informed they had 90 days to find a new home. Luckily, the Disciples of Christ Midwest Region heard their call for help and donated an abandoned church property to The Connecting Grounds, to continue their ministry on the west side of Springfield.
However, the property needs lots of love and care before it’s ready for people to sing again.
