Documentary education is one half of our dual non-profit mission here at Carbon Trace.

Carbon Trace Productions is dedicated to educating students in the diverse skills required for the art of documentary filmmaking. Our non-profit film studio in Springfield, Missouri works primarily with students at Missouri State University, but we will work with any student anywhere with an important story to tell.

Carbon Trace is excited to introduce our summer intern, Chris Gawat. This is Chris’s second semester interning with us.

He’s completing his final semester at Missouri State University, and has previously worked as a videographer for M.S.U. and interned at Daugherty Business Solutions.

You may have seen his work editing the trailer for Witness at the Border as well as his videography and editing of our recent video on the Springfield, Missouri, Black Lives Matter demonstrations.

This summer semester, Chris will be writing social media content for our current films, as well as editing for Witness at the Border and All of a Sudden

Be sure to check out his film reel and be sure to take a look at his personal photography business. Chris is a real catch for us as he is extremely talented and driven to tell meaningful stories. We are thankful for his hard work. The entire team is looking forward to helping him hone-in and show-off his diverse skills.
