For more than a year now, a small, dedicated group of Carbon Trace Productions staff and volunteers have been making trips to Shannon County, Missouri, two and a half hours east of our Springfield base. The team has been conducting interviews with potential subjects for a sequel to the 1981 documentary film “A Portrait of the Ozarks,” and getting to know folks and becoming more familiar with the region.
This is the First Look at what will ultimately be a three-year project.
