Our team encountered Souriyat Across Borders while interviewing Syrian refugees in Amman, Jordan. Created by five women, this charity provides rehabilitation for Syrian war-wounded along with deeply necessary education programs for vulnerable refugees.

Souriyat Across Borders® is the operating name of SAB, a charity registered with the Charity Commission in England.

This program is established and run by strong Syrian women, breaking the stereotypes of what Syrian women are capable of, to help those whose lives have been turned on their heads by the current conflict in Syria. Their work has changed lives by:

Providing physical and occupational rehabilitation for the Syrian war wounded;
Providing humanitarian and medical aid;
Providing education, training, and vocational support;
Empowering vulnerable refugees.
